MyLuzerne is the first Decision Support Tool (DST) dedicated to the cultivation of alfalfa and intended for farmers and their technicians.Its simple and practical functionalities allow you to choose a suitable plot, reference it and then monitor its production.The results can be shared with a technician to analyze production and identify points for optimization.The objectives of MyLuzerne are to:- successful planting of alfalfa (agronomic diagnosis),- acquire production data (yield estimate, exports, etc.),- share them in PDF format,- and identify optimization levers.MyLuzerne is an application created by the French seed company Cérience.
The design and development of the tool are carried out in partnership with the Terrena cooperative.
The tool has benefited from the help of the Cap Protéines project (ruminant breeding component) deployed as part of the France Relance plan.MyLuzerne is a free and multi-platform application (Android and iOS).Initially deployed in French, it will soon be available in English.The tool is compatible with all varieties of alfalfa, it also includes a list of all alfalfa registered in the French catalog.
